Is the STL file included with the kit?
No, STL files are sold separately. Kits include only the physical 3D printed parts. After purchasing a kit, you may receive a 20% discount code for the corresponding STL file.
What’s included in ARF and PNF kits?
ARF kits include all printed parts and hardware (carbon rods, TPU hinges, screws). PNF kits include these plus pre-installed electronics (motor, ESC, servos). Batteries, receiver, and transmitter are not included.
A part was missing from my order. What should I do?
Please contact us with your order number and photos of the received items. We'll ship the missing part at no cost to you.
Can I request TPU parts or custom modifications?
Yes, we offer optional TPU parts and custom modifications such as logo engraving or adjusted dimensions. Contact us before placing your order.
Do you offer student or special discounts?
Yes. Share your student ID or project details with us, and we’ll evaluate a discount opportunity.
I accidentally purchased an STL instead of a kit. Can I cancel it?
STL files are digital and non-refundable. However, if you contact us, we may offer a discount code to help you get the kit you intended to buy.

⚙️ Hardware & Compatibility
Should the motor be CW or CCW?
Most Craycle models use CCW (counter-clockwise) motors with standard threading. Always check the product page for details.
Is the internal servo mount strong enough?
Yes, internal mounts reduce drag and are reinforced for durability and performance at high speed.
Which battery provides the best performance?
Most models work well with 3S 1300–2200mAh or 4S 850–1500mAh LiPo batteries. Refer to each product’s guide for precise suggestions.
Can I use flight controllers other than Speedybee?
Yes, most standard 30x30 or 20x20 FCs are compatible. Speedybee F405 Wing is recommended for convenience and full feature support.
Do you provide INAV config files?
Yes. Crow, Orca, and similar models have INAV presets available. You can request them if not listed on the product page.
Where should I mount the receiver, VTX, or antenna?
Our models have internal bays and cable routing paths. Keep antennas away from carbon or motor wires for best signal performance.
🛠️ Printing & Materials
Which material should I use: PLA or LW PLA?
Use PLA for strong, durable parts. LW PLA is best for weight savings, especially in wings and stabilizers. Mixing both is common.
Should I use a brim? Some parts don’t stick well.
Yes, brim improves adhesion for large or cornered parts. Also ensure bed leveling and proper surface prep (glue stick, textured sheets, etc.).
What print speed is best for K1 Max and others?
60–80 mm/s for PLA, 40–60 mm/s for LW PLA. Use slower outer wall speed for better quality, especially on fast printers like K1 Max.
How do I keep Orca Slicer settings when changing printers?
Use "Export Config Bundle" from Orca Slicer and import into your new printer profile. Adjust bed size and startup G-code accordingly.
Why do some parts crack or break after printing?
Use higher nozzle temps and at least 3 walls. Avoid cooling too fast. Thin ducts or nose sections may require extra care.
✈️ Flight & Performance
Why is the aileron design on the Crow Racer unique?
It uses an internal linkage with a single central servo for aerodynamic efficiency and reduced drag, ideal for high-speed flight.
Why doesn't my model accelerate or take off properly?
Check propeller direction, motor thrust, CG position, and battery. Underpowered batteries and wrong prop direction are common issues.
Does CG location change when I scale the model?
Yes. Keep CG at the same percentage of chord length. Use proportional measurements rather than absolute distances.
Why does my model break during hard landings?
Avoid steep descent and overweight builds. Add TPU skids or landing gear if available. Fly smoothly for better durability.
