Craycle Usage Note

At Craycle, we use this screw as a general-purpose assembly screw on standard 800 mm models. For example, motor mounts are usually attached to the fuselage with two of these screws, while the motor itself is attached to the motor mount with M3 bolts.

We also use this screw for non-locking hatches, FPV hatches, skids, floats, landing gear parts, wheels, and similar lightweight components that need to be screwed into the model.

Usage Note

Use these screws with properly designed pilot holes or screw points in 3D printed parts. Avoid overtightening, especially in PLA or thin printed sections, to prevent cracking, stripping, or deformation.

Safety Warning

Do not use these screws for high-load or safety-critical structural joints unless the full assembly has been designed and tested for that purpose. Check screw tightness before flight, especially on landing gear, floats, motor mount areas, and removable hatches.
