A detailed guide with optimized settings and project files for Klipper users
โ Why not the Pre-sliced G-code instead of Orca profiles?
Sharing G-code is common for traditional Marlin printers. However, Klipper-based printers often reject external G-code files due to firmware-level restrictions or security reasons. Additionally, printer-specific variables such as nozzle size, bed dimensions, firmware limits, and custom start commands vary widely. Pre-sliced G-codes may cause errors or incompatibilities for many users.
๐ Instead, we provide .3MF Orca Slicer project files because of this format:
- Contains all necessary settings,
- Allows users to reslice according to their own printer setup,
- Minimizes the risk of failed prints.
This approach provides both flexibility and reliability.

๐ฆ What is the Craycle Orca Slicer Profile?
For every Craycle model, we provide a .3MF format the Orca Slicer Project file with fully optimized settings. This file ensures:
- The model is positioned correctly on the print bed,
- All print settings (wall thickness, infill pattern, layer height, etc.) are pre-configured,
- Supports and brims are already applied,
- Users can simply open the file and click “Slice” to get started,
- The project also includes Craycle-tuned print, filament, and printer profiles,
๐ How to Use the 3MF Project File
- Open Orca Slicer
- Select
File > Open Project - Open the
.3MFfile located inside the Project Files folder of your Craycle model - Review settings, slice, and print!
๐ ๏ธ For Manual Tweakers: Recommended Settings
You donโt have to use our profiles. If you prefer to configure things manually, apply the following settings to ensure your Craycle models print cleanly and reliably in Orca Slicer:

๐งฉ Using with Bambu Studio and PrusaSlicer
Craycle .3MF project files are not limited to Orca Slicer. They can also be opened in Bambu Studio and Prusa Slicer. These slicers share the same underlying engine and support the .3MF format.
๐ Even if your printer has a different bed size:
- All part placements,
- Filament configurations,
- Layer and wall settings will still be imported accurately.
