Discover V2 is a revolutionary FPV (First Person View) platform for drone enthusiasts. This multi-purpose FPV platform is designed for cinematic shots, long-range FPV flights, and autonomous flights. It allows users to fly with multiple camera types outdoors and is compatible with nearly all GoPro models and other action cameras, thanks to its quick-release camera holders.
The upper wing design ensures a balanced and stable flight. With the Adjustable Wing Span feature, you can carry more load for more efficient flights. Discover V2 offers the possibility to fly and shoot for hours by accommodating a 15,000mAh or larger Lipo battery due to its large internal volume.
How to Adjust the Wingspan?
To adjust the wingspan, all you need to do is scale wing 2 and wing 3 in the Z plane. The scale should not change in the X and Y planes, as long as you pay attention to this, you can extend the right and left wings to the desired extent via any Slicer.
Avoid making sudden turns in flight for wings longer than 1400 mm. You can easily extend up to 1600 mm and the CG point will not change.
1400 mm and 1600 mm wingspans were tested and the result was excellent, you can also choose intermediate sizes, but first test the 1200 mm standard wingspan, this is sufficient in most cases.
Craycle continues to make continuous improvements by taking user feedback into account. We are committed to offering significant future improvements to their models to previous customers for free, such as offering Orca V2 and V3 to V1 owners at no cost. We are focused on developing better products rather than accumulating models.
Discover V2 ensures excellent flights with rear and wing lights for night flights. You can operate lighting in any color and animation with easily accessible electronics. Additionally, thanks to its modular electronic platform, you can create your setup using several bracket options.
While Craycle Discover V2 offers an innovative platform for aerial photography and FPV flights, it continuously evolves according to the needs and expectations of users. To follow these exciting developments and be part of the Craycle community, you can visit the Crafter Group.
Discover is now much different!

Key Features!
Here we list the improvements made to Discover V2. These significant changes make Discover the best 3D Printed Cinematic FPV Long Range Platform on the market.
- Added new Bullet Nose option
This is a Nose option that allows you to fly more aerodynamically without an action camera. You can still get cinematic shots and long-range flying with HD FPV cameras like the DJI O3.
- FPV hatches are compatible with any FPV system in the market.
Now all Craycle models have a common design for FPV hatches. With a camera and VTX bracket, you can mount any FPV system and adjust the camera position. The camera and VTX are designed to be connected with a single bolt. You no longer need to pay for different FPV hatch options.
- 75 grams lighter for Printed weight and 200 grams lighter for Flight weight with Regular PLA.
In the Discover V2, the wings were completely renewed, the support rods were removed and the wing structure was changed. The fuselage and wing became more rigid, while the total printed weight of the model was reduced by 75 grams.
- Added GPS location on the โfs1โ part.
As a result of extensive flight tests, we determined the optimal GPS location for Discover and added a slot for GPSs of different sizes on FS1.
- New e-brackets were made for SpeedyBee F405 Wing.
The special flexible bracket we developed for the F405 Wing caused some problems, so during the testing process, we developed fixed brackets that can hold the FC from the top and bottom. We also updated the flexible bracket.
- It has fewer parts and is easier to assemble.
In Discover V2, we managed to reduce parts in the wings, winglocks and landing gear, fuselage, and various areas and simplified the model.
- Added Servo-hatch and Rx-hatch.
As in the new generation Craycle Models, the Servo Hatch can now be used independently and in both directions. We have applied the same design to the RX-Hatch and made it user-friendly.
- The wings were made lighter and smoother.
We switched to the Craycle Style column design on the wings, which made the wings more flexible and robust while having a smooth surface on both the top and bottom. In addition, new insert designs on the wing parts ensured that the wings fit together more firmly without using additional parts. We hope you like this design, which we have been working on for a long time.
- The fuselage bottom was made much stronger.
During the testing process, we experienced that the lower part of the Discover was not strong enough. We reinforced the lower part of the body and the results were great.
- The Winglock system was renewed and made accessible without opening the hatch.
The Winglock System has been completely renewed, the CF Rod has been removed, and completely 3D Printed parts have been used instead. We print Winglock parts from PetG, the reason for this is that PetG has a more slippery structure and the system works easily, but it also works in PLA. In addition, WingLock has been switched to a slotted design where you can adjust the wing locking contact, so no matter what your printing settings are, you can adjust the tightness of the wing by hand without experiencing tolerance problems.
In addition, the Handle part that locks the wing has been made accessible from the outside, so it has become possible to adjust the wing without removing the hatches. The second advantage of this design is that the Handle does not take up space on the electronic rail and the interior is more comfortable. It is also an important advantage that it is much easier to remove and safer than the old Circlip design.
- The CF Rods were deleted on the winglock system and landing gear.
We removed the CF rod from the landing gear as well as the wing. This way the landing gear is easier to make and more accurate.
- The landing gear was made bigger, stronger, and had screw holes for mounting.
We made the landing gear screwed, so it became possible to change the landing gear in case of an accident. Gluing it was not a good solution, we solved that. During the tests, we had to fly on rough terrain and we thought you would need it too, so we enlarged and widened the wheel significantly.
- The PDF Guide was completely renewed and made easier to understand.
As with the new generation Craycle models, we have made significant improvements to the PDF guide. It is simpler and more understandable, yet also contains more information. We strongly recommend that you read the new PDF manual again, even if you have built the model before.
We make our PDF guides mobile-friendly and design them so that you can look at the PDF directly from your phone while making your model. This eliminates the need to print out the PDF guide.

Craycle Team…
This is an absolutely beautiful model. I love how it looks over the v1. I never finished my v1 discovery or Orqa because I was never really happy with the amount of stringing involved with using foaming pla. I was able to mitigate it on the one eclipson model I printed, likely because it was in vase mode. That being said, Craycle planes are better designed and better looking in my opinion. I am really curious about this wing design without a spar. It this really possible with normal pla plus?
All Craycle models have the “continuous printing” (vase mode) technique and all parts can be printed completely without almost any retraction. For this reason, our models are compatible with LW-PLA.
For example, retraction is zero in all body and wing parts and covers of Discover. There is retraction in nose parts and brackets.
We cannot prevent this in brackets and special parts such as Orca fs1 and we do not want to compromise the design to make models completely without retraction, but with the new updates, the retraction rate in the parts is below 5%.
If there is retraction even in the wings, there may be a problem with your printing settings. In BambuLab and similar printers, you should set the Gap Closing Radius value to 0.15 mm, this can allow the internal supports to appear and continuous printing to take place.
Thank you for your interest, we are very happy that you like our models.
We wish you pleasant flights.
