We added BLTouch automatic bed leveling to our Creality Ender 3 V2 model printers in the printer room we built for Printed Kit Production. After this upgrade, I wanted to turn the Z switches into Filament Sensors. The sensor works very well, so we wanted to add this design to the library.
I see that this switch is quite popular and is also used in different printers. It is also sold in many stores. Whatever brand your printer is, you can use this switch and our design to make yourself a virtually cost-free Filament Sensor.
Assembly instruction: The model consists of two parts. Mount the switch to the 1st part using its own bolts. You can mount the 2nd part and the first part with 2x8 mm bolts, or you can put them in their sockets and stick them.
