Simple Hatch Lock is invented as a new lock design while developing the FPV Orca V2 design. A fully 3D Printed spring and lock design will now be common to all our models. The arm that we use to move the catch is the M3 bolt. These bolts come as spares with most brushless motors and I'm sure you already have them. You can screw it without any extra process.
We made the body of this design independent of our models so that this lock can work by itself. Thus, a very strong lock design emerged that you can use in your Balsa or Foam models. Don't be fooled by how small it is, it's stronger than it looks!

For the weight I’d replace the screw with a plastic part printed part of the spring. I’ll try making my own version based on this for the Orca.
